The Naval Support Activity (NSA), Annapolis is accountable in delivering the operational support responsibilities to the Naval Research Laboratory Commander Naval Security Group, Chesapeake Beach Detachment in Randle Cliff, MD and the Naval Academy Complex. NSA Annapolis has full of integrated military and civilian employees with different programs that offers their outstanding services, functions and facilities to their customers. It also offers different aids to the families of enlisted men of the Navy. The Fleet and Family Support Center is only one of the few programs of the Navy which provides aids to enhance and improve the quality of life, morale, emotional and secures the personal and professional well being of the active servicemen as well as the retired military men and their families. It also helps the personnel by offering their housing program.

The Naval Support Annapolis offers wide variety of operations like emergency, fire, security and safety mission for the active servicemen and retired military personnel and their families. All the programs of NSA Annapolis collaborated with the state government as well as the local entities to provide aid in their formal and informal agreement in providing solutions to the entire operational affairs.

The Maryland Indian Head base was first built in 1920 and it is located near Polomac River. The base was a small town during World War II till 1960s, after which it received good number of funding by attracting investors. Today there are also few retailers working inside the base. There are also few plans to expand the base through private investments. There are also sites used to test weapons and they have set up houses and arsons.

The weapon manufacturing companies comprise of civilians and military scientists, assigned to develop weapons for military use. The testing of these weapons is administrated by Naval Surface Warfare Center. They also have a rapid response team incase of biological weapon outbreak, to control and contain the event; the team is known as Chemical and Biological Incident Response Force.

The base has all the facilities for Army families living inside the base. It has schools and education centers such as Henry E. Lackey High School offering number of services and features to children of Army families such as swimming pool, baseball, indoor track, basketball and more. The school offers excellent subjects in their circular and offers best class education.

The Maryland Naval Academy was once founded back in 1845. George Bancroft was the one to bring it alive. The magnificent history of the Naval Academy cannot be missed and it has even displayed the interesting USA history itself. This academy has experienced many changes throughout the years. Both, young men & women receive the training they need to become optimal professionals, they are then prepared to serve as marine and naval officers after they graduate. It is situated in the precious Anne Arundel County, right in Maryland, USA. It is pretty extensive; covering the United States campus of Naval Academy.

The Maryland Patuxent River is a Naval Station. It is also known like the NAS PaxRiver. This is a USA Air Station situated in the fancy St. Mary’s County, in Maryland; it is right on Chesapeake Bay- This Naval Station is very close to the Patuxent River mouth. This is an optimal spot.

Today, it is actually home to United States Naval exam Pilot School, & it serves like a testing, examination and evaluation place. It is also good for systems acquisition related to the Naval Aviation. It was commissioned back on April 1943 and was acquired through a very eminent domain- this Maryland naval air station started growing at a fast speed in order to properly respond the World War II needs.

The Maryland Patuxent River Naval base later became the center for evaluating and testing including many other facilities that were built  back in the 1950s & the 1960s; within the Weapons Test Division back in 1960), the great Propulsion Evaluation System Facility. This magnificent base even served like a testing and evaluation place for V-22 Osprey. The Naval base remains outstanding without a doubt.

The measures have somehow migrate the research & the testing places for the rotary and the fixed wings aircrafts to the known NAS Patuxent River that are from decommissioned bases. Many employees are there and this is definitely huge. It is home to NAVAIR Headquarters, Air Testing Wings Atlantic, & Naval Warfare Aircraft Division Center Commands.

Back in 1937, the Aeronautics Bureau wanted to fully consolidate many aviation test plans and programs that were before conducted at plenty of stations like Norfolk, the Yard, the Naval Air Anacostia station in Washington, etc. Finally, the cedar Point was the one selected because of the specific remote location that was on the beautiful coastline, no traffic, no problems, etc.

Maryland Bethesda Medical Center is also known as National Naval Medical Center and it is situated in the city of Bethesda in state Maryland. The medical center was built in 1940 and it has been operating as one of the best US naval hospitals. The staff of medical center comprises of both civilians and military personnel. It also has the honor to provide health care to the family of US President. The center is made up of research department to conduct research work, provide health care for high profile Americans as well as medical care services to both current and former military personnel.

There are also some plans to merge Maryland Bethesda Medical Center with Walter Reed Army Medical Center to create a larger medical center with more facilities and services. The medical offers great services and it is build with many medical features. It works to provide better service and work with other organizations such as Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, which is run by US Federal Government. It also works with Armed Forces Radiobiology Institute providing facilities to other medical organizations and institutes. They all work together to provide better medical research platform and services to both civilians and military personnel.

The original design of the project only included health care services but after numerous upgrades of medical staff and instruments it is more than just medical center. Today it has become home to medical center for family of US President, American hero and some of the most high profile civil and military personnel. Even the President Ronal Reagan’s wife Nancy Reagan visited Maryland Bethesda Medical Center for medical care.

In 1960 it went under a major expansion upgrade costing around $5.6 million, the main building was added with more floors, more bed spaces were added to the inventory of the center and temporarily ward building built during World War II was removed from the project.
