Selfridge Air National Guard Base (ANGB)
Selfridge ANGB is located in 3,600 acres of land in Harrison Township, Michigan. It was named in honor of Lt Thomas E. The base is commonly called “The Home of the Generals” in Detroit because it houses the 150 generals who have served the base since Selfridge started its operation. It is also the only family housing owned by the government in the area. Originally, the establishment was given the name Valdosta Airfield, which was later changed to Moody Army Airfield then to its current recognition. The name given was to honor a pioneer, Major George Putnam Moody who served the Air Force, but suffered an unfortunate death in the early centuries.

Hanscom Air Force Base
The Massachusetts Hanscom is today home of the Headquarters Electronic SC – It is 1 of the main product centers in terms of the Air Force MC. Furthermore to the main function, it works like a host unit. It is huge and capable of supporting the magnificent Force Research Laboratory’s & the Space Vehicles center, the MITRE Corporation, the MIT Lincoln high-tech Laboratory, & plenty of important companies- not to mention the many groups that are even related with the Defense Department.

He somehow funded this spot and it is to be remembered forever.
