Naval Support Activity Panama City

On July 20, 1945, The Naval Support Activity Panama City was established as the United States Mine Countermeasures station. The organization is a well reputable military facility that hosts a total of 135 officers that are active on duty, 11, 000 retirees, 644 active duties enlisted, 1, 972 family members, 1, 333 civilian’s employees, 36 reserve component offers and 24 reserve component officers. The facility is nestled in Panama City Beach, Florida in the St. Andrew division. This facility is resourceful in providing the educational skills and theoretical specifications for water-fighters to have direct access to the Gulf of Mexico.

The facility is effective in conducting continuous researches, testing and training for operatives throughout the year. The facility was later renamed in the United States Navy Mine Defense Laboratory in 1955, as the facility transitioned to improve the services provisioned new names are being assigned. The facility received the name Naval Coastal Systems Laboratory in 1972, categorized with a variety of command divisions such as, the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren and the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock.

The name Naval Support Activity Panama City was assigned to the facility in 2007, therefore containing tenants to enforce development and research responsibilities.

The subdivisions are fully equipped with all the amenities to comfort the needs of all occupants. Training is provided to evaluate the efficiency of all operatives to explore the Navy field. All operations require approval from the United States Navy which is the key division for the subdivision.
