I was in the RAF from 1955 until 1960 and was posted to RAF Detachment Hickham AFB in 1957/58 in support of the H bomb tests on Christmas Island, servicing the aircraft going to the island, and providing r and r for a few RAF personal that would come up from the island for a week or two. We lived with the American air force personal, in all I suppose there were 20 or 30 of us.
My question is, does any body know of our existence there, and is there anybody out there who can remember us ……. I can find non.
    Hope some can help.
