Saratoga Springs is also known just for Saratoga and it’s a city in the Saratoga Country in New York, U.S. Coordination 43 ° 4’31 “N 73 ° 46’57” W. Having a population of 28,499 spread in the area of 75.2 km2
The income in Saratoga comes from tourism, they rely heavy on it and they gain a lot of income specially in the summer time when the Race Course is open with the horse races going on all summer the income is boosted a lot by the tourists that come here, there is even a lot of industry going on in the city and this is another factor that contributes at the income and the culture of the city. We have here well known printers like Time Magazine , People Magazine , Newsweek, Sports Illustrated and other big names like AMD , Ball Corp which are the makers of Pepsi`s aluminum cans.
Saratoga Springs is important also because of the navy personal that they have in the area and the special units like: NSU (Naval Support Unit) it was renamed in 1999 after previously was named Naval Administration Unit Scotia after the staff in charge were moved to a more concentrated area of the Navy.NSU takes orders from the State Capital City of New York which is located at 35 miles away at the north from the State Capital Albany. This point is actually strategic; it is situated in a perfect location. Even the climate is optimal. They can deal with many operations every other day.
Moreover, their goal is met on a daily bases since the prime missions that NSU has is to support the Nuclear Navy Training Unit (NPTU).NPTU is located in West Milton, 10 miles away in Saratoga County south-west of NSU (Naval Support Unit), it is perfectly well oriented.
