USCG Sector Southeastern New England
The Massachusetts New England base is outstanding. With the headquarters in the Woods Hole, MA, the zone Southeastern in New England space has the responsibility to the fullest and it is coming right from the so called Manomet Point located in MA to the known Match Point that is located in Rhode Island.

Back in spring 2006 the Southeastern sector New England, was also known as the SENE, and it was actually established by Groups Woods Hole that joined together with the Marine Safety Providence (Office). The MA New England sector has today 8 well designed Stations together with 4 Cutters, 2 different Aids with Navigation teams, & 2 Marine Detachment units meant for safety. It is all about marines, too!

Moreover, the New England District is today responsible of many things such as fully managing the many important civil tasks and works.

Woods Hole region has:

Approximately 6,000 miles of the coastline, around 171 harbors full of Corps improvements. In addition, it consists of thirteen deep draft commercials water ways and thirteen exclusive and major river basin spots- Not to mention the many miles full of beautiful rivers & streams. The MA New England district even employs like 400 professional that are ready to meet up needs in terms of tasks with military aspects. The officers are even serving in several management positions that are very important. Around 80% of programs and projects are taking place and some others are in development.

The areas are amazing and the region is perfect for many activities. The specific goals and missions are totally great and varied. These activities include: the full Environmental restoration along with stewardship. The flood damages are to be reduced, too! The natural resources and the recreational management are taken care of. The full shoreline protection and security is attended and there are many navigation improvements taking place non-stop. Any disaster assistance can be met and the regulatory programs help in many ways.

Hanscom Air Force Base
The Massachusetts Hanscom is today home of the Headquarters Electronic SC – It is 1 of the main product centers in terms of the Air Force MC. Furthermore to the main function, it works like a host unit. It is huge and capable of supporting the magnificent Force Research Laboratory’s & the Space Vehicles center, the MITRE Corporation, the MIT Lincoln high-tech Laboratory, & plenty of important companies- not to mention the many groups that are even related with the Defense Department.

In addition, the Massachusetts goals and mission cannot disappoint anyone, since they are fully committed with the military Air Force and it is without a doubt unique; many Air Force activities linked to flying can be host even if they are not regular. The mission is to go for enhanced and innovative matters; too, it is all about supporting research, all sorts of acquisitions, & even electronic systems, it prioritize all that instead of simply military aircraft.

The Electronic Systems Center is hard to leave behind since it is capable of providing the ultimate in terms of control and command- All the information systems and data delivered to Air Force along with the Defense Department are allies. They are currently managing around 2 hundred 200 plans and programs, their budget exceeds 3 billion.

The Base Group and the management are optimal. They are especially trained and they can provide active duties without a doubt! The military personnel cannot really disappoint and they work hard. The best part is, they even support retired military staff. Medical matters are also taken care of. Finally, the Hanscom Air Force base was once named because of Laurence Hanscom, he was a known pilot and a n enthusiast. Unfortunately, he was killed time ago in a sad plane crash. He somehow funded this spot and it is to be remembered forever.

US Army Base Fort Devens
MA Fort Devens today provides high-quality facilities & a lot of training support for inter-agency corps and organizations along with military services. They even have growing amounts of several modern classrooms that are for formal instructions. It is all about history mixed up which even includes Native American adventures, training and more important experiences connected to watershed moments that are strictly related with the country founding and of course, the Fort Devens history itself. Westover Air Reserve Base
The MA Westover Air Reserve force Base is ready to meet what everyone needs and it even serves as the main Air Force base. It is even great as an Army & a Navy unit. This fantastic base is able to fully cover much more than 2,000 acres. The land is extensive and the head of MA Westover base is the Colonel R Swain, he is even the AFR commander, the wing is just great and innovative!

Moreover, the Massachusetts Westover Air Force base is today house of 439th Airlifting Wing, the twenty sixth Marine great Regiment and not to leave behind the 226th Transportation Army Company. A part of the many military operations, this fantastic air force base was once used like a good backup in terms of landing for the NASA’s shuttle programs. It is definitely sophisticated and ready for many important purposes. The 2 runways allow such thing and they are used by the civilian aviation, yet, all this under agreements. Furthermore, the MA Westover employs a very significant portion of the Springfield population.

So, the Westover base today serves like the joint Usage, it is the mission of both, the military & the civilians to cooperate properly. The impeccable facilities are today owned by the Defense department and some are even private ownership. There is flexibility in terms of a significant separation that exists between the military & the civilian operations.

This place was once built by war appropriation and it was signed by the once loyal and known president Franklin Roosevelt back in 1939. This MA base was then assigned to US Army Corps of the Northeast District. Yet, later it became a part of Air Force and the Bomber Command. Finally Westover Base became one for submarine activities to battle German U-Boats. All this linked to the WWII.

Natick Soldier Systems Center
The Massachusetts Soldier Systems center is to be fully respected. Today, it is the home of The United States of America Soldier Systems and it is situated in the beautiful and interesting Natick, MA. It is approximately seventeen miles from Boston (West). The Systems Center installation is located in a strategic and marvelous place. The tiny housing areas are just great and they are scattered along all the especial surrounding towns. The best part is, many of the top public schools are right there and fascinating cities from the nation are right next to it. This location is definitely fabulous! It is capable of delivering each important task on time.

USCG Air Station Cape Cod
The Massachusetts Cape Cod Air Force Base in the United States is simply great. It is an Air Force situated right in northwest Massachusetts, more precise in the Military Reservation, on known Flatrock Hill. Today, it consists of the so called PAVE PAWS station which is a radar facility. It is constantly working and performing outstanding tasks. Moreover, its continuous operation is impeccable.

The Massachusetts Cape Cod AFB starting working back in April 1980, it was known as the Cape C Earliest Missile Station meant for warning and it was later renamed as the Cape Cod AF Station later on Jan, 1982. This facility is today home of many even to sixth Warning Squadron of Space right after North Truro AFS closure in Truro, MA. Their mission is fantastic so you should keep reading. The many needs are suited after analyzing each task.

The MA Cape Cod main goal and mission is to actually fully track the Space debris & the Inter continentals not to mention the Submarine many ballistic missiles that were and are launched. In addition it tracked the USA-193 right before it was actually shot down. Moreover, the secondary mission includes the purpose to track the many Earth-orbiting items like International Station for space matters along with Space Shuttle, pretty much any sort of object that is capable of deviating from the orbit!

The radar screen at Cape Cod is just hard to leave aside. Many interesting space matters take place right there at the MA Cape cod air force base. They even have a high-tech PC room especially designed and built for the PAVE PAWS. The units are in the respective foreground.
