I had the privilege of being stationed there in 1969 for about 10 months before getting west pack orders fore Viet nam.My wife and first born son lived there in and apartment on base at Nebo,i worked fore special services and part time at the theater. They had just finished the new two man squard bay barric south of the EM club and flanked the old squard bay barrics.Lots of friends and memories of Barstow.I;m sure everything has changed threre except Marine Corps pride and tradition.Keep up the good work my fellow Marines
